Club Foot

A developmental disease, flexural deformity of the coffin joint can be caused from genetics, diet, and other causes of pain leading to reduced weight bearing on the foot. The condition is usually discovered in weanlings. The hoof becomes upright, with long and contracted heels. The toe of the hoof is commonly dished and can make the tip of the coffin bone prone to injury.
