Dr. Lauren J. Lyssy, DVM

Veterinarian/ Practice Associate

Dr. Lyssy  officially joined TCAH in winter of 2021.   From 2017 to 2021, Dr. Lyssy worked with her grandfather in a rural mixed animal practice in Arivaca, Arizona.  Dr. Lyssy received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2012, and then went on to complete Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University in 2018.

Dr. Lyssy grew up on her family’s cattle ranch in southern Arizona, working with her grandad in veterinary medicine from a young age. This upbringing gave her a passion for working on all types of animals.  She herself currently has three dogs, two cats, and two horses.  In her spare time, Dr. Lyssy enjoys baking and hiking with her husband and three dogs.

Dr. Lyssy grew to love this area during a veterinary school externship with Town and Country many years ago.  She is very excited to be back in the Hill Country and working with all our clients and patients again
